Maja Blanca Recipe




INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 cups Coconut Milk
  • 1/2 cup Sugar (granulated) (adjust to your preference)
  • 1 cup Fresh Milk
  • 1 can Evaporated Milk (385 g)
  • 1 1/4 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 can Cream Corn (425 g)
  • 1 pack Cheese grated

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. In a bowl, mix the cornstarch onto fresh milk and evaporated milk. Whisk until mixture is fully diluted.
  2. Pour coconut milk in a deep saucepan in low heat. Bring to a boil. Simmer for 2 minutes. Add sugar and stir until it is dissolved. Add to pour cornstarch mixture and cream corn. Continue stirring for 20 minutes or until the mixture reaches the desired consistency and thickness.
  3. Pour the mixture and spread to flatten on a serving tray. While still hot you may top with grated cheese. Let it cool down. Refrigerate for an hour. There you have it. Enjoy and share.
