Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Recipe



INGREDIENTS:



For the pie:
  • 1 (9-inch) prepared chocolate cookie pie crust
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 container (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed
For the topping:
  • 1 jar (8-12 oz.) chocolate ice cream toppingFor the topping:
  • 15 miniature chocolate covered peanut butter cups, unwrapped and chopped
Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Recipe


INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar and peanut butter with an electric mixer until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping. Spoon the mixture into the chocolate cookie crust.
  2. Pour or spoon the chocolate ice cream topping over the top, covering it completely. Use the back of a spoon or spatula to spread it evenly.
  3. Garnish with the peanut butter cups. Chill for at least 2 hours or overnight before serving.
