Coffee Cake Recipe

  • 8 tbsp Butter
  • ⅔ cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ½ cup Sour Cream
  • ½ cup Yogurt, plain
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Pecans
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the butter and sugar and mix until light and creamy. Add the eggs, vanilla extract, sour cream and yogurt and mix well.
  2. In another bowl, mix the flour with the baking soda and baking powder. Add the flour mixture to the mixer and mix everything to perfection.
  3. In a small bowl mix the chopped pecans with the brown sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Preheat oven to 350° F / 177° C.
  5. Place half of the batter in a bundt pan. Pour half of the pecan mixture over the batter. Repeat with remaining batter and pecan crumble in consecutive layers.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes. Let it cool for about 15 min before removing from bundt pan.
